Interior Designer, IIDA, CRAVE Denver
I am from: I was born and raised in Wyoming, but moved to Denver in 2003 to attend the Art Institute of Colorado and have been here ever since.
Education: I graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2006 with a BA of Arts in Interior Design.
Current Profession: I started my own Design business in 2012, Ballard Design Studio, focusing on residential and small commercial projects. I love design because it is so unpredictable and pushes me to constantly problem solve in creative ways.
Bio: Art and design have been a passion of mine since I was young. Interior Design is a creative way for me to help others express their personality while giving function and purpose to the spaces they surround themselves in. I have worked on hospitality, commercial and residential projects.
Other Activities: I am a member of IIDA and CRAVE Denver which are great organizations for continuing my education and growing a strong network of women throughout various professions.
Commitment to WiD: As a Co-Chair for WiD’s Networking committee, I am dedicated to helping create environments for members to expand personal connections beyond their respective industries.
