Our success is owed to the individuals and organizations that support us as members. The driving force for WiD is the Board of Directors and Steering Committee. These are the women who volunteer their time, personalities, interests and creativity to develop programming and activities in which members and their guests can participate. Activities are as diverse as the Steering Committee’s members and change as new ideas and new trends offer new opportunities to support professional growth.
How to Participate
Your participation on a sub-committee can start today! We encourage you to help shape the future of women and Women in Design-Denver. Be a part of generating ideas, creating programs, identifying local resources from speakers to donations, securing venues, creating and executing budgets, seeking grant opportunities, developing marketing plans, contributing to social media, and expanding your professional network of dynamic women. The sub-committees meet monthly and are open to all current WiD members. Working together they develop programs that are designed to inspire women to become leaders in their careers and communities.

Women in Design Principals’ Group
The principals’ group is comprised of women who are principal level owners of their companies working in the building design and construction industry. The purpose of the group is to create community among the small group of women who lead their firms in order to share ideas, solve issues, create teams, and gather a network of support. The group typically meets for breakfast the second Thursday of odd months to discuss business-related topics such as teaming, adapting to new technologies, use of social media, and generational differences. The group will occasionally meet at other times and provide support for the overall WID organization.
Contact email@example.com if you would like more information about the group.
