As a member-based nonprofit organization, Women in Design relies on support from local and industry professionals, companies, and organizations to sustain our annual programs and public outreach projects and help us address issues facing women in our industries. Each year, we host bi-annual speaker events, monthly intimate networking opportunities, a women's day outreach event, and professional development workshops. Currently, we are leading an advocacy campaign on the investigation of parental leave policies.

If you’re new to Denver, it may take a second or two to figure out that 5280 takes its name from the city’s mile-high elevation. Five-thousand, two-hundred and eighty feet above sea level. We began 5280 in 1993 with the simple but unprecedented step of asking 75,000 area residents what they wanted to read about in a magazine about the Mile High City.
