Leanna DeLaTorre

Outreach Co-Chair

Architect, AIA

Leanna DeLaTorre

Education: University of Arizona Bachelors of Architecture

Current Profession: Architect at Humphries Poli Architects

Bio: With an eye for design, and a love of math, somehow I ended up as an architect. I grew up primarily in Arizona, and worked throughout school (the University of Arizona) and post graduation for commercial architecture firms, learning about a range of projects, and trying to figure out what I wanted to do. Since moving to Colorado almost two years ago I have found some of my passions: education and preservation. I have been lucky enough to work on some exciting schools and beautiful restoration projects, and hope to continue to do so, as I continue to learn about and explore Denver!

Other Activities: AIA, dance, yoga, skiing, hiking, reading, puzzles

Commitment to WiD:   I have been on the outreach committee for the past year, and am starting 2016 as one of its Co-Chairs.  Our committee will be focused on finding ways for WiD to participate and make a difference in the community, as well as reaching out to current students to give the opportunities to connect with WiD and participate in our outreach events.
